Engine Power: 30kW/40HP
Price:
Sale price$187.00 USD

Description

The DC Type Marine Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger is designed for marine engine and diesel engine cooling, transferring heat between the closed-loop engine coolant circuit and seawater. By keeping the engine coolant and seawater in separate circuits, the heat exchanger helps maintain stable engine operating temperatures without direct seawater exposure to the engine cooling system.

Available in 316L stainless steel and titanium configurations, these marine heat exchangers are suitable for boats, yachts, commercial vessels, and other marine cooling applications. The compact shell-and-tube design uses spiral corrugated tubes to provide efficient heat transfer, high fluid velocities, and low pressure drop while allowing the tube bundle to be removed for inspection and cleaning.

Marine heat exchanger models are available in different sizes and connection configurations to accommodate different engine cooling requirements. For model selection, consider the engine heat load, coolant flow rate, seawater flow rate, operating temperatures, and connection size.

Application Scenarios

Marine Engine Cooling Systems: Marine DC type shell and tube heat exchangers are widely used in diesel engine cooling systems for boats, yachts, and commercial vessels, helping transfer heat efficiently between engine coolant and seawater.

Boat & Yacht Seawater Cooling: Ideal for small boats and yachts requiring reliable seawater heat exchange, ensuring stable engine temperature even under high load conditions.

Ship & Offshore Equipment Cooling: Used in marine and offshore platforms where continuous cooling is required for engines, hydraulic systems, and auxiliary equipment.

Industrial Cooling Applications: Suitable for industrial processes requiring corrosion-resistant heat transfer between fresh water and seawater or other fluids.

How Does a Marine Heat Exchanger Work?

A marine heat exchanger keeps the engine coolant and seawater in separate circuits. Hot engine coolant flows through one side of the heat exchanger while seawater flows through the other side. Heat passes through the tube walls into the seawater, allowing the engine coolant to return at a lower temperature without direct contact with seawater.
