The WiseWater BL26 Series brazed plate heat exchanger is designed for efficient heat transfer in compatible heating and cooling systems. It features 316L stainless steel plates brazed with 99.9% copper, forming a compact, integrated assembly for liquid-to-liquid heat exchange.
Its corrugated plate design promotes fluid mixing and heat transfer in a space-saving structure. Depending on fluid compatibility and operating conditions, the BL26 Series can be considered for hydronic heating, floor heating, snow melting, boiler systems, and other compatible heat transfer applications.

Connection Type and Thread Standard
The BL26 series brazed plate heat exchangers feature 1-inch NPT threaded connections. NPT is a tapered pipe thread standard commonly used in piping systems.
Before ordering, please verify that your system connections match the specified thread type and size. If you are connecting the heat exchanger to equipment using a different thread standard, such as BSP, please confirm compatibility before installation.
Freeze Protection Guidelines
To prevent freezing and ensure safe operation:
- Use freeze-protection thermostat and flow switch (if applicable)
- Maintain continuous water flow before, during, and after operation
- Use ~1mm filter mesh
- Use antifreeze (up to 50% glycol) when required
- Avoid operating during pump downtime
Welding Instructions
- Recommended welding method: TIG or MIG
- Use damp cloth around connections to prevent overheating
- Apply small nitrogen flow to prevent internal oxidation
