Description

WiseWater Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger features a lightweight and compact design for easy installation and maintenance.

It is constructed with 316L stainless steel plates and brazed with 99.9% copper, equipped with 1" MPT male threaded connections.

Compared to traditional heat exchangers, this unit uses corrugated plate technology, generating highly turbulent flow to achieve a true counter-current heat exchange, which significantly improves thermal efficiency.

Its compact structure and reduced material usage make it a cost-effective heat transfer solution for a wide range of heating applications.

Freeze Protection Guidelines

To prevent freezing and ensure safe operation:

  • Use freeze-protection thermostat and flow switch (if applicable)
  • Maintain continuous water flow before, during, and after operation
  • Use ~1mm filter mesh
  • Use antifreeze (up to 50% glycol) when required
  • Avoid operating during pump downtime

Welding Instructions

  • Recommended welding method: TIG or MIG
  • Use damp cloth around connections to prevent overheating
  • Apply small nitrogen flow to prevent internal oxidation
